Unqualified Range scale points 15-21 (£19,172 - £22,771)
Qualified Range scale points 23-31 (£24,157 - £30,566)

You will be an experienced lecturer who is fully conversant with the standards and requirements of the qualifications in the catering industry, an excellent culinary practitioner who has been classically trained and an outstanding teacher. You should be fully aware of the roles and procedures involved in internal quality processes.
You should hold assessor and internal quality assurance qualifications, a teaching qualification and a vocational qualification to at least level 3 in food preparation and cooking is also essential.
As well as delivering practical and theoretical lessons in catering and contributing to its commercial activities, you will have a strong desire to develop and prepare our learners for rewarding careers in the catering industry. You will also be required to meet the targets set by the college and department.
The successful candidate will have previous experience of working in this educational environment and with a diverse range of students. Your craft skills will be excellent and you will be self- motivating, enthusiastic and able to work as part of a team.
