Contracts And Order Co-ordinator

Company: IMES International    Location: Sheffield

Key Responsibilities: -

  • Defining scope of supply for a given enquiry either directly with the client or internal colleagues

  • Prepare documentation in support of project either at bid or clients order stages

  • Prepare accurate cost data which covers all elements of the project deliverables

  • At order award, prepare internal documents enabling smooth transition from enquiry through to operations and delivery of the equipment ordered

  • Prepare and maintain;

    • internal sales and project reports

    • project support documentation

    • full traceability of the project from enquiry/order through to delivery and beyond

  • Provide expediting services of supplier deliverables as required

  • Maintain effective and concise communication with the client and related project teams

  • Organise or undertake packing and dispatch of clients order from the facility.

    Key Requirements:-

  • Previous experience in performing a similar role, with a strong commercial awareness

  • ONC or Equivalent NVQ/experience in an electrical / electronic disciplines

  • Demonstrate practical knowledge of project management techniques including scheduling, logistics and procurement

  • Strong time management skills and ability to coordinate multiple enquires and orders

  • Ability to demonstrate effective management of external and internal customer/colleague relationships

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Competency in Standard Microsoft Application, ie word, excel, power point, outlook etc

  • Understanding of force and load measurement and monitoring systems applied to the oil and gas and process industries desirable

  • Experience of wireless transmission systems, control and datalogging systems desirable
