An integrated creative marketing agency based out of Exeter in Devon, Destination provides holistic marketing, digital, creative, PR and social media services to a variety of clients. Destination has a distinct specialism in the retail and leisure industry and, based on the expertise within the team, has developed two award-winning and unique offerings Mall2Mobile and SocialiStreet.
Overall purpose of the role
Pivotal to the success of Mall2Mobile and SocialiStreet is the unique content captured and provided by our team of Brand Ambassadors. Your role will be to visit designated shopping centres and town/city centres weekly or as advised by your line manager, to liaise with retailers, take photographs and collect content to be shared with our social media and PR team via our content management system.
You will be tasked with photographing and describing content, including products, offers and news, which each retailer would like to promote. You will also liaise with centre/location management to collate information on upcoming events and relevant local information. The successful applicant will also need to work closely with the internal Social Media Executive and Account Manager for each appointed account.
We are looking for a person who is personable, reliable, well-presented, comfortable in working autonomously and confident when speaking to retailers and members of the public. Good communication skills and attention to detail are essential. The ideal candidate will be social media and tech savvy, with a good eye for photography and confident on a smartphone. An interest in retail and/or fashion would be desirable.
This is initially a part-time post (40 Hours per month, hours/days to be agreed)
