The Royal Stoke Hospital is looking recruit a Nursing Assistant to join our Acute Rehabilitation and Trauma Unit based on ward 227.

This is a very exciting opportunity for staff who are looking to work in a very dynamic, forward thinking team and working alongside a large multidisciplinary team in the delivery of high quality care on the unit.
The successful applicant will have the relevant skills and experience and we are looking for a committed team player who has high standards and is passionate about improving the patient experience.
(ARTU is a 26 bedded ground breaking new unit, caring for acute patients stepping down from intensive care, or straight from theatres or A&E, requiring support to achieve their maximum potential for physical, cognitive, social and psychological function. ARTU is one of the first ´hyper-acute specialised rehabilitation" units to be developed within a Major Trauma centre. The ward based multidisciplinary team will care for patients requiring specialised rehabilitation following severe head trauma, complex spinal injuries, polytrauma and other acquired brain injury.)

Already have Level 2 NVQ or Apprenticeship in care
If you are joining us and already hold a level 2 NVQ or Apprenticeship in Care with previous experience and are successfully shortlisted, you will be invited to take part in a face to face interview where you will be expected to demonstrate evidence of your qualification and previous care experience.
Pay scale band 2
Dont have Level 2 or Apprenticeship in Care, but wish to become an Apprentice and train
- We can train successful applicants through the Level 2 Apprenticeship programme
- You will need evidence of your assessment in key skills to level 2 or willingness to undertake
