Experience in care of the elderly desirable, N.V.Q Level I or II desirable. Summary of role: To provide a high standard of care for residents and to assist the staff In ensuring the physical, social, and mental well-being of all the residents. Assisting residents to retain as much of their dignity and individuality as possible by offering them choice.This will include supporting residents who have varying needs, either being Elderly Frail or having Dementia or both.
BONUS BASED UPON LENGTH OF SERVICE GIVEN FROM 3 MONTHS ON.
Wage is according to National Minimum Wage Age Guidlines.
Responsibilities and Duties
The care to be given is dependent on the needs of the resident, but can include assistance with mobility, hoisting and transfer, continence support, changing, feeding, washing and dressing/bathing, and interacting with the residents so as to support their well being on every level. Statutory trainings will be given.
