Hire Controller

Company: Wernick Group    Location: Newcastle-under-Lyme
Wernick Hire Ltd are seeking a Hire Controller to work as an all-round administrator at Newcastle Under Lyme depot.

Skills & Experience:
Excellent customer service skills.

Computer literate, in particular the use of Microsoft Office packages.

High level of organisational ability.

Experience working in a busy sales office.

Experience working in the hire industry, in the portable and modular building sector is preferred, although a similar sales / admin background will also be considered.

Must be able to work on own initiative.

Duties include:
Handling of telephone enquiries and sourcing equipment as per customer requirements.

To record enquiries and source of enquiries using CRM software.

Compile reports on a weekly and monthly basis.

To follow up response of quotations and tenders sent.

To produce hire contracts, quotations and any other correspondence necessary.

Negotiation with suppliers to obtain best rates.

To keep accurate record of all purchase orders and client files.

Liaise with yard staff and suppliers to fulfil orders.

Generate new enquiries and new clients.

Plus normal day to day office duties.
