The service covers North Staffordshire which includes Newcastle-under-Lyme, and the Leek/Staffordshire Moorlands areas. We are seeking a BABCP Accredited CBT Therapist.
As an experienced and accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist, the post holder will provide high intensity cognitive behavioural interventions to children and young people who have a range of complex mental health related problems for which CBT is demonstrated to be clinically effective.
The post holder will work with Children and Young people with different cultural backgrounds and ages, using interpreters when necessary.
In addition, the post holder will provide support, supervision and guidance to less experienced practitioners in CBT, supporting their work in evidence based individual therapy, and their provision of group programmes based on cognitive behavioural principles.
