We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 Physiotherapist who is registered with the Health Care Professions Council to join our Community Physiotherapy Services Team at Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Partnership NHS Trust. The post is musculoskeletal outpatients based on a fixed term temporary contract. The service could offer flexibility with the working hours from 22.5 hours per week over a 12 month period to 37.5 hours per week (fulltime) over a 34 week period.
The post holder will be supported by experienced senior physiotherapists and as part of their job role they will be required to supervise band 5 physiotherapists and unqualified staff members; independently manage their own case load and contribute to departmental and service needs. The post holder will be required to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, show initiative and team spirit, as well as be committed to patient care, assisting patients in achieving their maximum potential. The post holder will be flexible and able to work in a variety of locations across the Trust, as the service requires, which may include some lone working.
The post holder will be working across hospitals and community settings and must have the ability to travel within a geographical area to meet the requirements of the post.
