Customer Service Advisor

Founded in 1962 as a development centre for the British ceramic tile industry, Building Adhesives is a wholly owned subsidiary of Ardex GmbH, Germany.Its main activities are based in Stoke-on-Trent in the UK.The UK activities comprise R&D facilities, administrative centre and UK manufacturing activities.

Products are sold under the BAL and Dunlop brands.BAL is the market leader in the UK professional tiling market and renowned for its stringent product quality and excellent technical and training services, whilst Dunlop offers a comprehensive range of tiling products for a wide spectrum of building applications which are distributed through the merchant sector.

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic, customer focused Customer Service Advisor working for a leading manufacturer based in Stoke-on-Trent.The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30-5.00pm.

The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, possessing excellent telephone and accurate data input skills

You will be working as part of an established team but must be able to work unsupervised and use own initiative.

Duties include:

Process orders in a timely and accurate manner ensuring that maximum sales potential is achieved by contacting customers immediately with any queries

Produce reports as required and reporting back to Customer Service Manager to enable the department KPI targets to be achieved

  • ·
Respond promptly to customer enquiries by telephone or electronically ensuring all requests are dealt with, within strict time constraints, fulfilling customers’ expectations using relevant departments or personnel

Manage the calls & information coming into the business, ensuring this is captured in the agreed format, then using the data to follow up enquiries to maximise sales potential

General identified departmental administration

  • ·
Support when required to cover Reception duties and Marketing Campaigns
