The A&E Department is seeking to appoint a Clercial Officer to support a discrete project for a period of 12 months. The postholder will work closely with the clinical team to validate activity data and ensure that key investigations and treatments are recorded for all the patients attending our Emergency Departments.
The postholder will work alongside a clerical officer who will support the same workload. Together the team will review the Department´s activity, identify missing inverstigations and treatments and update the Department´s System (Symphony) to reflect the work done.
The position will suit someone with a clinical background and has coded clinically on IT Systems, who is used to working in a busy Emergency Department and is accustomed to using Symphony on a regular basis. It will offer the postholder an opportunity to play a key role in supporting the Division to deliver on its quality objectives for the year in addition to delivering a balanced financial position.
