About the Role: The IT Security Analyst is a new role and an opportunity for someone to really stamp their mark, and help improve security knowledge within the department. You will be a key part of the IT team supporting the group wide network of 450 business systems/servers, 7500 users across 60 sites. Its a modern environment with multiple systems and technologies - heavily invested in recently.

The IT Security Analyst role focuses on maintaining the Groups Cyber Security, helping to ensure that operational IT Security is effective. Working across IT teams to ensure security incidents are proactively identified and resolved. Ensuring security controls are managed and security events proactively investigated. In addition you will act as a lead resource for IT Security on business and technical projects, and mentor and train members of the IT team.

About You:

  • Relevant experience in a medium to large IT team for a non-IT company (ideally FMCG) with 3+ years as an IT Security Analyst or an experienced Infrastructure/Mobile Engineer with a keen interest and knowledge in IT Security, supported by education.
  • Able to demonstrate good knowledge of information security risks and countermeasures.
  • Further education in IT/IT Security is advantageous
  • Previous relevant experience includes Microsoft Windows,security incident management, vulnerability assessment, IDS, intrusion detection, security testing, malware analysis, computer forensics, SIEM solutions.
  • Ideally knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, networks and security technologies and cloud technology.
