We are currently looking to recruit a motivated business development executive who can make a contribution to our ongoing success. The position is based in our Wakefield Head Office working in a small and friendly business to business team. This position will be focusing on promoting and selling our NVQ and Apprenticeship courses to the UK construction and civil engineering markets. The role in brief:
--You will sell NVQ and apprenticeship courses to existing ITS and AFI customers.
--You will generate new business by building and maintaining a portfolio of prospects.
--Have the ability to understand customers needs to upsell and cross-sell appropriate products and course units.
--Use your market knowledge to keep customers informed of our NVQ and apprenticeship offerings and how they are relevant to legislation within the construction and civils markets.
--You will build and maintain strong relationships with customers and prospects.
--To work closely with internal operational teams to ensure smooth delivery of the courses as well as those within the wider group.
--Working hours 8.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday. The ideal candidate:
--You will have enjoyed success in a previous outbound B2B telesales role.
- Have experience in or knowledge of the UK construction and civil engineering markets
--You will preferably have experience in selling NVQs or apprenticeships
--You will be motivated by selling and enjoy picking up the phone.
--Experience in the use Customer Relations Management software would be advantageous.
--You must be outgoing and enthusiastic.
--As this is a customer focussed role, excellent communication skills and a friendly approach are a must.
--Time keeping and using your own initiative will be important aspects of the role, so you should be proficient at these skills.
