High Intensity / Psychosocial Lead Therapist

Right now, we are looking for a talented CBT therapist to ensure the effective management and supervision of all psycho-social interventions within our community-based substance misuse services in the Wakefield District.

You will give clinical guidance, training and leadership to a team that delivers psycho-social interventions to both individuals and groups. In addition to being responsible for the systematic governance of these services,you will offer practical advice on CBT and other evidence-based substance misuse interventions to colleagues as well as local agencies and organisations.Consulting with substance misuse staff on treatment pathways and formulation will be a key area of the role.

You will be an experienced CBT practitioner with a Masters qualification inCBT, be eligible for BABCP accreditation and have experience of working with people who misuse substances. You will have experience in clinical supervision.Equally important will be your commitment to the national Recovery Agenda,encompassing good quality psycho-social provision ranging from harm reduction to abstinence.
