Service Coordinator

Company: Proactive - Manchester    Location: Wakefield
I am currently looking for a Service Coordinator that specialise in sprinkler systems for a small and expanding family run fire protection company based in Wakefield. You will be joining a company that is dedicated to its employees.

The successful candidate should be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and has knowledge in regard to diagnosing repairs and maintenance issues with fire sprinkler systems. You will need be an excellent communicator due to the role being predominantly phone based.

Day to day responsibilities:
  • Answering calls and managing communication
  • Handling enquiries and resolving customer queries
  • Control the diary of a small maintenance team
  • Working closely with engineers, management and directors to deliver excellent service
  • Creating and maintaining accurate customer records
  • Diary record of engineer activity and the daily task of closing off previous day´s jobs for invoicing
  • General filling and scanning
The successful candidate will have:
  • High quality interpersonal skills with proven experience within a customer service environment
  • Have a proactive approach and be self disciplined, using own initiative to make decisions
  • Have a flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • Attention to detail and be methodical, focused on high standards and organised
  • A good knowledge in administrative and clerical procedures
  • Be competent on Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Have a can do attitude and be able to work in a close knit office
Hours of work are 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday

  • 20 days holiday per year plus bank holidays and Christmas
  • Pay is competitive and based upon experience
